Plans to convert Tenby’s former HSBC building into ground floor retail use have been put forward to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
Hayston Developments and Planning Ltd is making an application (reference: NP/25/0019/FUL) on behalf Mr Chris and Barry Walters for the former bank to be converted into a ground floor retail use which, under the planning regulations is permitted development and does not require planning permission.
Therefore, the application is only concerned with the proposed external alterations to the front elevation of the building, which is located within the town centre, in Tudor Square.
HSBC which was the last remaining bank in the seaside town, closed its doors to the public back in the summer of 2024.
