Community councillors in Kilgetty have objected to a planning application for a caravan site in the vicinity.

The application which came before members of Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council at their recent meeting was for (REF: 23/00790/PA) Penrath Farm, Ryelands Lane, Kilgetty, SA68 0UY, for the use of land as a caravan site, caravan storage and erection of storage shed (in retrospect).

Following consideration of all the information provided by the Planning Authority, councillors objected to the application, on the grounds that - very little information had been made available; vital detail not presented; concerns on the access to the site, given the likely increase in traffic; the application refers to a small caravan site whereas other sources state up to nineteen pitches.
