Pembrokeshire Yacht Club has held its annual Commodore’s Ball, after a long break for numerous reasons and then the Coronavirus outbreak.
This year’s Commodore’s Ball was held at Wolfscastle Country Hotel. They chose to support Paul Sartori Foundation, a local hospice at home charity which supports adults at the end-of-life.
Christian Smart, the Pembrokeshire Yacht Club Commodore and his wife April chose to support Paul Sartori after the care his late father/Aprils father-in-law received from them last year. The event raised a fantastic total of £1001.88 for the local charity.
Laura Hugman, Clinical Manager at Paul Sartori Foundation said: “We are very grateful for the amazing donation received from the Pembrokeshire Yacht Club Commodores Ball. The donation will enable us to continue supporting palliative patients in Pembrokeshire through Paul Sartori’s clinical services. Thank you to everyone involved for supporting Paul Sartori Foundation.”
April Smart, Pembrokeshire Yacht Club Committee Member said: “It was a great night in memory of the Commodores Dad, it was lovely to dress up and raise money for a great cause. It’s really good to have the Commodores Ball back after such a long break.”
