Senedd Member for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire, Samuel Kurtz, has urged the Welsh Government to address ongoing planning delays, which he says are deterring vital investment in Wales.
Speaking after a recent exchange with the First Minister, Mr Kurtz commented: “At a time when economic growth is crucial for Wales, delays in granting planning permission for key infrastructure projects are pushing away inward investment.
“West Wales holds immense potential for renewable energy production, and the Welsh Government must do everything in its power to encourage investment in this area.
“I urge the Welsh Government to listen to the business community, remove unnecessary barriers, and help unlock our potential as a leader in renewable energy,” he added.
