In response to growing concerns regarding access to healthcare and GP services across the county, Mid & South Pembrokeshire MP Henry Tufnell is carrying out a survey, to gather evidence to take forward to the Health Board.
Mr Tufnell said that his aim is to ensure that the Hywel Dda University Health Board listens to the concerns of patients, as Pembrokeshire ‘deserves and needs better’ health care outcomes.
“I want to urge constituents to fill in my survey, to share their views and experiences of access to healthcare and GP services,” he remarked.
“I have already been meeting with local GP practices, and executives on the Health Board, to discuss the issues facing our community. I will be taking each individual survey response forward to the Health Board in the new year.
“My goal is to ensure that the Health Board listens to the concerns of patients, so better services can be provided for everyone. Pembrokeshire deserves and needs better health care outcomes.
“My survey is live on my website and can also be found across my social media channels,” he added.

Pembrokeshire Conservative county councillor Rhys Jordan, recently launched a scathing attack on the UK Government’s Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, the Rt Hon Wes Streeting MP - asking for the MP to consider Wales’ failings in the NHS.
“As a councillor deeply committed to the health and well-being of our community, I feel compelled to address the criticisms you direct at the NHS in England while seemingly overlooking the challenges facing the NHS in Wales, where your own party has been in power for the past 25 years,” stated Cllr Jordan, who is Pembrokeshire County Council’s ‘wellbeing champion’.
