Pembroke Castle has taken the top spot for the most ‘iconic landmark’ in Pembrokeshire, according to research - with a total of over 600,000 Wikipedia searches!
‘Big House Experience’ has found the most iconic landmarks around the UK, by looking at Wikipedia page view data from worldwide searches.
While Snowdon is the most iconic landmark in Wales, Wrexham Race Course has shot up to second place, with 1,110,394 page views. Pembroke Castle came in at number 6 behind Cardiff Castle in fifth.
Kidwelly Castle in Carmarthenshire was named as number eight.
The University of Oxford is the most searched-for landmark in the whole of the UK, with a whopping 12,764,009 page views on Wikipedia.
