Paul Sartori Hospice at Home are singing for joy after recently being awarded a generous grant of £952.00 to deliver a project to improve the well-being of the local community.

They will do this by forming a local Community Choir. The grant was awarded by the Community Changemakers Fund delivered by South West Wales Connected (SWWCo); Great Western Railway (GWR); Transport for Wales (TFW) and 4theRegion.

Joining the Paul Sartori Community Choir will not only be open to Paul Sartori staff, volunteers, voting members, trustees and service users, but participation will be encouraged from the wider community through its extensive network of contacts.

Members, with or without previous experience in a choir, will be invited to participate and will be guided by a Choir Master.

It is recognised that singing in a choir can significantly impact upon the individual’s wellbeing, and what better timing during the Covid-19 pandemic than to be involved in a community choir offering a greater sense of belonging and place.

More information on how to join the Choir, including meeting dates will be communicated on the Paul Sartori social media platforms and via its shops. The choir will meet at Vision Arts, 39 Cartlett, Haverfordwest.
