Over £12.2 million was received by 1,231 Welsh farm businesses in Pembrokeshire this month as Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) 2024 advance payments are made.
A total of £157.8m has been paid to over 15,500 Welsh farm businesses across Wales from the Welsh Labour Government.
More than 96% of claimants received a BPS advance on October 14, worth approximately 70% of their estimated claim value.
Over £18 million was received by farmers in Carmarthenshire.
Rural Payments Wales continues to make advance payments beyond this date, as individual BPS claims become eligible for an advance. Full and remaining balance BPS 2024 payments will be made from December 12, subject to full validation of the BPS claim.
