Firefighters from the on-call fire crew at Tenby Fire Station and Tenby RNLI Station made the most of the hot, sunny weather on Saturday, April 20 with a fundraising car wash to raise money for the RNLI.
The Tenby Lifeboats RNLI car wash annual car wash was once again kindly hosted at Tenby Fire station.
Locals were invited to visit between 11am and 1.30pm and get their car washed, whilst also helping support the RNLI.
The fire station, based in the heart of the hugely popular seaside resort of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, is well known for the fundraising activities they do.
The fire and lifeboat crews were even able to benefit a fellow emergency service as they gave a Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust truck a wash!
Following the event, Tenby Lifeboats RNLI said: “Thanks to everyone who turned up to get their car washed - it was another huge success. We even had a visit from a truck from fellow emergency service the Welsh Ambulance Service, which we were only too happy to spruce up for them! Thanks also once again to all the crew at Tenby Fire Station for the assistance and use of their facilities.”
