Over 200 youngsters stepped out at the county council Autumn Dance Competition over the weekend.
Held at Milford Leisure Centre, the Pembrokeshire Leisure School of Dance pupils from Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Tenby competed for trophies and medals across a range of dance styles.
It was the third dance competition to be held by Pembrokeshire Leisure and it gave all pupils a chance to get together in a friendly in-house competition before they compete against dancers from the rest of Wales and the West Country in Chepstow next May.
Dancers ranged from as young as four to senior citizens and included absolute beginners as well as experienced medallists. The dance sections covered were ballroom, modern sequence, cheerleading teams, disco, classical and Latin.
Anyone wishing to take up dance as a hobby, or just to get fit, can find classes for all ages and dance styles with fully qualified dance teachers around the county.
Locally at Tenby the following classes are held: Friday: 5-6 pm young children disco/cheerleading; 6-7 pm children and youth disco/cheerleading; 7-8 pm children and youth Latin, ballroom, classical, modern sequence; 8-9 pm adult Salsa/Latino; 9-10 pm adult ballroom, Latin, classical, modern sequence.
