On December 17, the staff

of Tenby Junior School felt it

was about time to teach the

children a real lesson - on the

football field!

With a new kit on display,

thanks to Miss Wood, the

Ronal-staffo team took to the

field, being cheered on by the

rest of the school.

However, their pride of

entering the arena to 'We Will

Rock You' was shortlived as

the pupils made it quite clear

from the first whistle this was

going to be a real battle!

The pupils took the lead

early on through hard work

and determination. There was

plenty of time left and the

Ronal-staffo team felt confident

that their tactics of playing

off veteran striker, Ronalwillo,

would provide what

they needed.

All was going well as Ronalstaffo

pulled a goal back

through a well-struck shot by

Ronal-scaleo and, following a

bizarre attempt at an overhead

kick by Ronal-willo, Ronalstaffo

took the lead. Though it

wasn't for long!

After persistent pressure by

the pupils, the Ronal-staffo

defence cracked, allowing the

floodgates to open.

The pupils scored four goals

in a short period of time to

confirm that they really were

the champions on the day.

Despite a last minute consolation

goal by Ronal-coxo, the

pupils came out victorious by

five goals to three.

Ronal-staffo would like to

thank everyone for all the support

they received, especially

from the cheerleaders in Year

6. Thank you also to Tees 'R'

Us for sponsoring the staff tshirts.
