A new town map has been officially launched by Tenby Chamber of Trade and Tourism.
Chris Osborne, chamber president, said: "Despite the new era of digital information to help tourists, we established there is still a demand for a clear, easily understood 'hard copy' Tenby map.
"The various offers available were generally unsatisfactory, so inspired by a tear-off-from-a-pad version we found in Bristol, the chamber commissioned Andrew Lowe to produce a new map, identifying important locations such as toilets, the lifeboat house, the museum, bus stops, etc.
"The maps have been produced in pads of 50, so when the customer asks the proverbial, "where is....?", we can simply tear off a map, mark the location and hand it over. Adding value to Tenby's customer service, this can only enhance The Tenby Experience."
The costs of production have been met by sponsorship from Heatherton, Folly Farm, Ritec Valley Quads, Battlefield Live and Manor House, all of which are advertised on the back of the maps, together with indicators of their location on a Pembrokeshire map.
The maps are available, for free, to all members of the chamber and can be picked up from the offices of Birt & Co in St. Julian's Street.
To join the chamber, you can download an application form from their website - VisitTenby.co.uk - or contact the membership secretary, Elaine Rowe, on (01834) 844175.
