New sluice gates have been ordered for Saundersfoot harbour and are due to be replaced in June.

“This will greatly help reduce the build-up of sand in the harbour,” said county councillor for the south ward Cllr Chris Williams.

“This has been an issue with many residents who use the harbour and hopefully this news will be warmly accepted by its users.

“The harbour is now lit up at night again, due to the successful replacement of all the light fittings around the harbour.”
