There was excitement at Saundersfoot Harbour this week as the third and final mast on the new Coastal Schooner was lifted into place.
The Coastal Schooner is a life-size three-masted heritage schooner being built on the seaside village’s National Events Deck.
The masts will be used as a high ropes course for visitors to climb the rigging, as well as doubling up as an outdoor cinema.
Below deck, will be a small kiosk and the second of three new interpretation centres in the Wales International Coastal Centre, looking at the maritime history of Pembrokeshire and Wales, including trade, piracy and smuggling.
The Wales International Coastal Centre is a £10million development on Saundersfoot Harbour, funded by the EU Funding Bodies, Welsh Government, and Coastal Communities Fund.
