Narberth Town Councillors have been discussing issues surrounding ongoing problems at Jesse Road.

The Clerk reported on the footway and highway improvements at Jesse Road which hav started and will be completed over an 8 week period.

Members informed County Councillor Marc Tierney of the ongoing problems at Jesse Road which are exacerbated at school start and finish times.

Members feared that narrowing the road by the Dingle will cause more problems. Cllr Tierney agreed to try to get a site visit there during the busy time of day.

Cllr Rogers asked how could these be considered ‘safe routes’ in the community when pedestrians are encouraged to walk on a pavement in front of a petrol station forecourt.
