New Hedges Village Hall Management Committee has issued a ‘we know who you are’ warning to culprits entering the play park unauthorised, which is currently closed to the public.

In recent times, the Committee has been forced to reinstate a ban on dogs on the land, due to the amount of dog fouling in the Hall Field/Play Park that is not being picked up - with ‘No Dogs Allowed’ signage erected.

Sharing the post on social media, the Village Hall Management Committee stated: “Very disappointing to have to write this post!

“We closed the park before Christmas, due to the pending installation of the new park, and it will remain closed until the new park is in situ.

“Unfortunately, some local people think the closure does not apply to them.

“One gate was forced to allow dogs in, so the gates were realigned and wired closed, and today the wire had been removed, and the side gate that's not visible from the road left wide open.

“We've got lovely new CCTV cameras, so we know exactly who is doing this. If it continues, we will be left with no choice but to name and shame.

“Incidentally, one of the dogs lost it's heart shaped dog tag a little while back, we have that also.

“The closure applies to everyone equally, without exception! Please adhere to this polite request, as the field and playpark is private property. Thank you,” they added.
