Whitland fought back well in the second half of this Swalec League Division One West match to tie things up at 13 points each against Bonymaen.
In the first half, Whitland never turned up and found themselves 13 points to three down at the break, with Bonymaen outside-half Paul Warlow kicking two penalties and converting a try by winger Chris Hoppe.
In reply, the Borderers' only points came from the boot of outside-half Carwyn Jones, who landed a penalty.
In the second half, Carwyn Jones added another penalty and winger Will Davies crossed in the corner for a try, which Jones converted from the touchline to level the scores.
Although Whitland did have a chance to win it with two drop goal attempts, neither went over and in the end they would have settled for the draw after their first half per formance.

Whitland Seconds lost by the narrowest of margins away to Bonymaen by 30 points to 29 in this exciting Carmarthen Tyre Services Championship clash.
Bonymaen took the lead, scoring two tries through A. Cousens and A. Stapleton, with outside-half S. Thorne converting both, before Whitland finally got on the board when outside-half Jonathon Thomas kicked a penalty after 32 minutes.
Scrum-half Adam Davies then added a try just before the break, which Thomas converted, to leave the half-time score 14 points to 10 to the home side.
Thorne kicked a penalty early in the second half, before Whitland scored three tries, two by winger Simon Stanford and one by Jonathon Thomas, who converted two of them to give Whitland a useful 29-17 lead.
But Bonymaen were far from done. They scored two late tries and Thorne dropped a goal to give them a nail-biting single point win.

Whitland beat Tenby in the Griffiths Cup by 17 points to 10 and by three tries to two.
At the break, Whitland led by seven points to five after fullback David Dunfee scored a try and outside-half Nico Setaro converted, while Leo Moreland replied with a try for the young Seasiders.
In the second half, Whitland scored two unconverted tries through flanker Dafydd Walters and winger Jack Murphy, with Rob Fairlie crossing for an unconverted try for Tenby.
