Motorists are being asked to plan their journey well ahead this weekend, as a major road closure is taking place between Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
The A40 will be closed in both directions between Robeston Wathen and Penblewin roundabouts from 8pm Friday, April 19 to 6am Monday, April 22.
The weekend closure is part of the A40 Llanddewi Velfrey to Redstone Cross Improvements and is required to enable construction of the Redstone Flyover Bridge north of Narberth.
An emergency diversion will be in place for emergency vehicles, those attending hospital and local residents from each of the A40 roundabouts.
All other traffic will be diverted via the A4076 and A477 towards Pembroke Dock.
“Please plan your journey well ahead, as it is likely to be a busy weekend,” said a spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council.
