CONGRATULATIONS to Tenby’s Clarence House Hotel’s long-standing staff member, Hubert Hilling, who recently celebrated 50 years of working at the establishment.
A party was held to mark the milestone at the premises which is situated along the Esplanade; with guests celebrating the occasion with seventy-four-year-old Hubert, who has worked for three generations of the Phillips family who own the hotel.
Hubert is seen here with Penny Phillips, Managing Director Martin Phillips and Carolinda Phillips.
“Hubert has been such a loyal and wonderful member of the Clarence team,” said Penny.
“He has served three generations of the Phillips' family and was particularly amazing in helping to look after Mary and Gilroy when they were ill.
“He has selflessly helped many guests over the years and is a firm favourite!” she added.
“It only seems like yesterday that I first walked into the Clarence and it’s been a lovely life there - but I’ve no plans to retire – I’m just going to keep going,” remarked Hubert.
