Carmarthenshire County Council’s tourism team wishes to thank the 65 local accommodation providers and 23 visitor attractions that attended its ‘Meet Your Visitor Attraction Event’ in Carmarthen town centre this month.
The event held on March 5 brought together accommodation providers and some of the county’s top visitor attractions. This exciting event offered a unique opportunity for businesses to expand their networks, forge new partnerships, and enhance their bookings for the year ahead.
The event featured 15-minute one-on-one meetings between accommodation providers and attractions, ensuring that businesses had dedicated time to discuss potential partnerships, share ideas, and explore new opportunities for the year ahead. The event also allowed attractions to showcase their offerings, helping businesses to build stronger relationships, and improve the tourism offer across Carmarthenshire and to our visitors.
Carmarthenshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism, Cllr Hazel Evans commented: “Thank you to all the accommodation providers and visitor attractions within Carmarthenshire that attended this event. The feedback received has been tremendous with attending businesses asking officers to arrange another event in the Autumn, which I’m very much looking forward to.
“Tourism is vital to Carmarthenshire’s economy and in these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we come together to support one another.
