The first Lent Lunch in Tenby got off to a super start at St. Mary's Church last Wednesday.
But if you missed out, don't worry, there are still five more meagre meals left to go
The next Lent Lunch on Wednesday is again at St. Mary's. The cost is just £4 and all money raised goes to Christian Aid. From there, it is forwarded as soon as possible to help starving families around the world.
On four subsequent Wednesdays, there are lunches at St. Johns and the Salvation Army Churches.
The Salvation Army take the last two Wednesdays before Easter Sunday.
On offer at these special frugal lunches - to reflect world hunger - is a scrumptious bowl of home-made soup, a roll and a cuppa.
As well as the chance for a natter with old and new friends, it's a good way of marking the run-up to the most important part of the Christian year - Easter.
And you will be doing your bit to fight world hunger.
These lunches, which have become a tradition in Tenby, usually raise well over a thousand pounds for Tenby branch of Christian Aid.
Just drop in between noon and 1.30 pm. Though entry is £4, you're invited to give a bit more.
Anyone who can't spare time for lunch is asked to leave something at the door or with the Malcolm Stacey at 9 Crackwell Street, Tenby.
