Tenby and District Lions have given a donation boost to brighten up Tenby Train Station.

This month, Lions member Nick Stapleton handed over a donation cheque for £200 to John Perrett who took over station adoption duties at the seaside town a few years ago, volunteering to offer his help.

The funds will be used to purchase plants for the station planters.

John also welcomed news for the Dock line, with the new Transport for Wales’ Class 197s making their first passenger run to the Dock this month.

Would you like to help to look after Tenby Railway Station? Help is needed with watering the planters and deadheading them when needed.
