Pembrokeshire County Council’s licensing inspectors were out again this month to conduct a join operation outside at Tenby’s secondary school to carry out checks on taxi operators.
Inspectors were joined by school transport colleagues, Dyfed-Powys Police and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency at Greenhill school on Heywood Lane.
The inspectors reported lots of ‘non-compliance’ issues with taxis, including an immediate prohibition for bald tyres.
A similar operation was carried at the start of the year to respond to complaints made about Safeguarding.
