Swimming

A group of Lamphey schoolchildren represented Pembrokeshire in the recent Urdd Gala held at the National Pool in Cardiff. They produced some outstanding swims and personal bests, which saw Alice become Welsh champion in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the individual medley. Charlie was very unfortunate not to medal by coming fourth and fifth in his respective finals. Da iawn pawb!

Wedding

Class One recently planned and role-played a Christian wedding ceremony in Lamphey Church.

They were very busy during the build up to the big day, writing invitations, interviewing Rev. Jones, exploring the church, making bouquets, typing orders of service, and looking at wedding ceremonies over the last few decades.

The children thoroughly enjoyed every moment and worked wonderfully together to create this special memory that hopefully they will hold for years to come.

A big thank you to Rev. Jones, who conducted this service, and to the church wardens who yet again allowed us to use St. Tyfai and St. Faiths Church in Lamphey.
