An application for funding towards new play equipment at Kilgetty’s play area is to be considered.

In a report to Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council last month, County Councillor for the ward Cllr Alistair Cameron said: “The application for a grant for play equipment from Pembrokeshire County Council’s Enhancing Pembrokeshire Scheme of £100,000 has been deferred by the Council’s Cabinet until the next deadline of July 12.

“This is to ensure that the tendering process is complete, and all local consultations have been completed.

“The county council will be able to assist us with the tendering and offer advice on the local consultation which is very important. I am arranging a meeting with council officers to take this forward,” he added.
