Kilgetty Football Club held their first mini-football tournament for Under 8s, and Under 10s recently, attracting teams from across West Wales.
A total of 440 children took part in the competition, cheered on by the hundreds of spectators in attendance.
Organiser Chris Griffiths said: "It's been quite a day! Very busy, but very rewarding. It was great to see so many of the children walking away with medals and trophies. I hope now that we can establish this as an annual event."
Twenty-four teams were represented in the under 8s competition, with Dafen claiming first place and Camrose claiming the runners-up spot. Llandeilo came in third and St. Clears took fourth place.
In the under 10s competition, another 20 teams were fielded. On this occasion, Llanybydder took first place, with Kidwelly in second spot, Merlins Bridge third and Llandovery fourth.
