The wedding of Mr. Michael Hempenstall and Miss Sarah White took place at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on September 8. The groom, an IT consultant in London, is the son of Mike and Patricia Hempenstall, of Gosport, Hampshire, while the bride, a police officer in Surrey, is the daughter of Sally and Tony White, of 13 Cwm Gwennol, Saunderfoot. Given away by her father, the bride was wearing a Royal ivory dress from Georgina's, Tenby, and carried calla lilies as her bouquet. The three page boys were William and Douglas Scriminger (groom's nephews) and Rhys White (bride's nephew). The best man was Jon Baker (couple's friend), while the ushers were Bryan and Steven White (bride's brothers). Following the ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler, the reception was held in the beautiful and pictureque setting of Trefloyne Golf Club. The couple are spending their honeymoon in the South of France, and will make their home in Weybridge, Surrey.
