When IMW left town back in September 2011, there was only one thing on the mind of Harry Goforth and that was to do an Ironman in his home town, Tenby.

Six years later, came his chaance and here he tells us about his Ironman journey.

“With all my training completed, I hoped I was ready!” he said.

“As dawn broke on the North Beach, hundreds of athletes entered the water. As the day went on, the support I received on the bike and on the run was fantastic. As I ran down the red carpet to cross the finishing line, my extraordinary journey was complete.

“Thanks must go to my friends and family for the continued support throughout the day and a special mention for Karen Vickery, along with John and Debbie Phillips, for all their time and support over the last year.”
