In the latest round of matches in the Nick Evans (The Cricket Shop, Narberth) Indoor Cricket League at the Meads Leisure Centre, Milford Haven, defending champions Neyland had a comfortable win over Saundersfoot to set up an exciting climax to the 2011 competition.

The win enabled Neyland to maintain their 100 per cent record and will play Whitland in the final match of the 2011 league, with the possibility of a winner take all result, if Whitland are able to win their match against Cresselly first! Both Neyland and Whitland have won all of their matches to date this season

In their fixture against Neyland, Saundersfoot were dismissed for 44 despite the efforts of Simon Stanford with 20. Neyland passed the total without loss upon reaching 49, with Nick Koomen 27 not out and Gregg Miller 21 not out.

Saundersfoot had an improved performance against Pembroke Dock who were bowled out for 80. Luc Barford top scored for the Dock with a defiant innings of 33.

In reply, Saundersfoot scored 96-3, with the Cope brothers getting the bulk of the runs. Nick Cope had an attacking knock of 27 and Richard supported with 20.

The Dock were held to a total of 64-4 in their match against Haverfordwest A.

Simon Holliday took 2-11 and for the Dock, Nick Daley kept his wicket intact with 30, but lacked the required support.

The Harfat team had a winning total of 68-1 in response, with Huw Scriven 25 not out and Simon Holliday 22 not out.

In the final round of matches on Sunday, Whitland will play Cresselly before taking on Neyland, while Cresselly will also play against Haverfordwest A team.
