Oakwood has stated that its bounce ride will remain closed after several people were said to have been left hurt following an incident at the Pembrokeshire theme park near Narberth today (July 10).

The park has said that the incident arose as a result of a ‘programmed Emergency Stop Procedure’.

One person who witnessed the incident said the ride - which is described as a ‘gravity-defying, stomach-lurching shot ‘n’ drop’ experience - dropped quickly to ground level with around 20 people on board, some of whom required medical treatment.
