Sir,
I'm sure that many of your readers are followers of the C4 programme Grand Designs, especially since the episode featuring the conversion of the old Tenby Lifeboat Station which created enormous interest.
Last week they followed the re-development of an old cinema in Yorkshire into a family home. I was impressed with the desire, determination and drive of the owners and also their loyalty to a town they so clearly care for. The finish was quite stunning, the authentic original look to the facade and an amazing functional house behind. A fine example of what can be achieved with such buildings.
If only!
B. Owen,
Hill Park,
Tenby.
