Park House Court is celebrating receiving two awards for its commitment to staff development and training.
By coincidence, Pembrokeshire College recognised the commitment, and two weeks later so did Network Training Services.
What makes these awards special is that they were not applied for.
In both cases, these companies took it upon themselves to make the awards.
Over the last 10 years, Park House Court has received many accolades, but they were applied for, and won.
The team has received awards at Wales and UK level for a range of subjects that include safety, housekeeping, Employers Pledge, IIP, Disability Symbol, Inspire, Adult Learners, and of course continues to support those returning to work after a long absence via several charities.
Park House Court is proud that so many employees have taken advantage of the support on offer, and go on to better things, that include Australia, Canada, England, as well as promotional posts in this area. Good luck to all of them.
In supporting the team, they work with the college for care, minimum requirement for all is level two, but support levels three, four and five in other subjects, the most recent being Advice and Guidance. With Network, they support a range of subjects that include safety, management and hospitality. They also work with the Tenby Learning Centre for help with English and Welsh lessons for all of our team.
They continue to support other businesses in the region on the basis of what the training team can do, and again somewhat unique in that they only say yes when they have the experience, qualification and professional standing to deliver.
