A group of hardy locals will as usual be taking the plunge and entering the water for a New Year’s dip on January 1.

Anyone and everyone wishing to enjoy a festive swim in the sea is welcome to join in the long held seaside village tradition and meet at the Christmas tree by the Amroth Arms pub for entry at 11.30 am

Fancy dress is optional and all are welcome to join in the fun and clear any New Year’s Eve hangovers in the chilly waters!

Donation buckets will be on hand in aid of the RNLI for those wishing to support those brave and nutty enough to go in.

The Amroth Arms will be open from 10.30 am for breakfast rolls and coffees with the fire lit to warm up after the swim too, with Sunday roasts served between 12 and 2.30 pm.
