Six local men are feeling a little chilly on top this week after taking part in a sponsored head-shave in aid of Children in Need at the Captain's Table in Saundersfoot on Friday night.

What initially started out as a fund-raising challenge for Carl Gunning, Mick Tew, John Baskerville and Alan Dowler, of the village's Rhodewood Hotel, ended up seeing the pub's licensee, Dave Booton, and barman, Jeff Price, joining in the fun and by popular demand of customers also having their heads shaved to swell the coffers for the appeal.

As a result, over £700 was raised for Children in Need and thanks are extended to all the customers at the pub for their generosity and support to such a worthwhile cause.
