New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Carmarthenshire’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Beams Thai Takeaway at 111 Pemberton Road, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire; rated on January 29

• Rated 5: KWONG YICK at 17 Water Street, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire; rated on January 23

• Rated 5: Francesco Paolo Pecoraro at SA66; rated on January 21

• Rated 5: Catch Fish Bar at Red Lion Yard, Guildhall Square, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire; rated on January 16

It means that of Carmarthenshire's 162 similar establishments with ratings, 101 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
