New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Carmarthenshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cwtch Coffee at SA14; rated on March 25

• Rated 5: PEMBREY INN at Pembrey Inn, 30 Randell Square, Pembrey, Burry Port; rated on March 21

• Rated 5: KFC Crosshands at Bowling Buildings, Llandeilo Road, Cross Hands, Llanelli; rated on March 15

• Rated 5: Y Gegin at Canolfan S4c Yr Egin, College Road, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire; rated on March 13

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: TAFARN BECA at Trelech, Carmarthen Carmarthenshire; rated on March 27
