Participants are gearing up for this weekend’s TenFoot Swim which sees entrants take on the route from Tenby to Saundersfoot.

The charity event starts at North Beach on Saturday, September 7, at 7.45am, with those taking part heading to Coppet Hall at Saundersfoot.

First swimmers will be anticipated to arrive at Coppet Hall from 9am with event ending at 11.45am.

For the first time the extended distance TenFoot Swim will finish at Coppet Hall Beach this year, thanks to the generosity of the The Hean Castle Estate who offered the event organisers the use of their facilities at the wonderful Coppet Hall Beach Centre.

“We would like to express our gratitude to them for this amazing gesture,” said members of the Tenfoot Swim committee.

The Hean Castle Estate said it was ‘delighted’ to be able to support this great local event, adding: “we look forward to congratulating all TenFoot Swim competitors over the finishing point at Coppet Hall Beach.”

Guide Dogs Cymru and My Name’5 Doddie are two of the charities that will benefit from this year's TenFoot Swim.
