People living in a Pembrokeshire village are calling for safer walking routes, in light of the fact that public transport is so poor!
One ‘frustrated’ villager of Moreton, near Saundersfoot, told the Observer: “In Moreton where we have no buses for us to catch; we don't even have a pavement to walk towards Valley Road to catch a bus - so we would probably be run over and killed!” one resident remarked, pointing out a busy caravan site located in the area too.
“Also although it is a 40mph speed limit cars fly through doing at least 60mph.
“Having several conversations with the relevant MPs and Council we were due to have a pavement by 2024/25 - but still nothing. We are so frustrated!”
