A ‘Feed the Community’ event is being hosted in Pembrokeshire from this month onwards - with a free warm space, hot meals, activities and advice for those attending.

Hosted at the HaverHub, Quay Street in Haverfordwest, by the local Neighbourhood Watch and local councillors, this free event is a fantastic opportunity for residents to come together, connect, and support remarkable local businesses, charities, and causes.

At the event, which kicks off on Thursday, November 14, from 2.30 to 5pm, you'll discover a vibrant hall filled with local vendors, insightful information from various charities, free advice and support, including fun activities designed for the whole family.

It’s not just about gathering; it’s about building community spirit and fostering relationships that make Haverfordwest a great place to live.

Thanks to the generous funding provided by Haverfordwest Town Council, and the hard work of Councillors Randell Thomas-Turner and Danielle Thomas-Turner, who are also the Main Scheme Coordinators in Haverfordwest for Dyfed-Powys Neighbourhood Watch, this event is completely free to attend!

While admission is free, donations are always welcomed to help support ongoing community initiatives and enhance the safety and wellbeing of the neighbourhood.

Ajay Owen, the Director, Chair, and Development Lead of Dyfed-Powys Neighbourhood Watch said: "I am thrilled to support our upcoming community event in Haverfordwest.

“This event not only highlights the incredible work of local businesses and charities but also strengthens the bonds within our community.

“Together, we can enhance our neighbourhoods across Dyfed-Powys and make our communities safer and more vibrant. I encourage everyone to join us for a day of connection, support, and fun. Let’s build a brighter future together!"

One session has already been held and was a great success and events are on-going every month until March 2025.
