New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Carmarthenshire’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Queens Fish & Chip Shop, at Unit 4 Stradey District Centre, Maes Y Coed, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 27.

And King Balti, at 5 Heol Y Felin, Pontyberem, Llanelli was given a score of three on October 27.

It means that of Carmarthenshire's 148 takeaways with ratings, 79 (53%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
