Flooding has caused disruption to routes in and out of Tenby once again today.

Pembrokeshire County Council and Dyfed-Powys Police have issued a plea to motorists today (February 8) to find alternatives routes due to flooding by Gumfreston on the B4318 Sageston to Tenby road, with the road closed.

“We do not currently have a time for reopening. Apologies for any inconvenience,” said a spokesperson for Pembrokeshire Council.

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has also issued a flood alert for south Pembrokeshire, with river levels expected to be above normal.

River levels in the River Ritec in the Salterns area of Tenby are likely to remain high for a number of days.
