The MET Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal areas across Wales, with heavy rain bringing in the chance of flooding and disruption.

It will be a dry start to the evening (January 13) with winds easing temporarily, but rain soon arriving at 9 pm and continuing overnight, heavy at times, with localised flooding possible.

The weather will turn gusty again with coastal gales, locally severe, in the early hours. Becoming milder as rain arrives. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

A further period of adverse weather is expected to affect South Pembrokeshire this Friday night.

River levels are above normal levels, with flooding of low-lying land and roads expected.

Due to restrictions at the tidal outfall, river levels in the River Ritec in the Salterns area of Tenby are likely to remain high for several days. You may notice river levels rising slightly as each high tide arrives.
