The ladies of Penally WI had their latest meeting last Tuesday in the village hall. A warm welcome was given by president Doreen, as always.

Apologies were given for Audrey, Julie and Kath.

Members began by doing some felt work Christmas Decorations, over seen by Sian, as Julie was away on holiday, where pre-cut felt pieces were chosen and then decorated with sequins, buttons and many more items before being sewn up with a loop to hang on a tree. However, it might have been a little better if Sian had remembered the stuffing for the ornaments! Oh well, never mind, they still looked lovely. Once everyone who was taking part had finished, it was then time for tea, with Doreen supplying the lovely home-baked mince pies, just lovely!

The meeting was then held, where the ladies discussed and chose their menu for the Christmas Meal which they have decided will be held in the Lamphey Hall Hotel. Also discussed was the monthly newsletter and everyone was asked to put their thinking caps on for some new ideas for activities, talks and demonstrations for Penally WI to partake in next year.
