The footbridge at Freshwater East beach near Pembroke was vandalised recently, with the wood used for a beach fire - you may have seen it wrapped in warning tape and looking precarious.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park told us: “Unfortunately, the individuals responsible had levered the handrails off, which in turn damaged the supporting beams, leaving them beyond repair.

“The footbridge was replaced less than week later by the Warden team.” Bravo.
