‘No Overnight Parking’ signs at Freshwater West have been vandalised and were the subject of discussion at the December meeting of Stackpole and Castlemartin Community Council.
At the meeting held at St Twynnells Community Hall, Cllr Haydn Garlic explained that he had asked the clerk to write to Pembrokeshire County Council and ask if the signs will be replaced. Approximately 15 to 20 signs have been sprayed out and vandalised.
The clerk confirmed she had emailed Pembrokeshire County Council. At the time of the meeting there was no further update, and councillors asked the clerk to chase the matter up, whereupon the County Council replied to say the signage was a trial and they no longer have funding to replace it.
