Fingers are crossed for a favourable forecast over the weekend as the first of Tenby’s fundraising Summer Spectacular events is due to take place.
Hosted by Tenby Round Table, the popular charity event around the seaside town’s picturesque harbour will take place on Sunday, August 13.
The fun starts at 3pm, with entertainment, food, drink and fireworks to finish at 10pm (weather permitting).
The second spectacular will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday, August 27.
Round Tablers are running their charitable events as normal, despite two other organisations - Tenby and District Lions and Tenby Rotary Club, taking a step back this year.
The events see thousands of people attending to enjoy live entertainment, bands and the amazing firework displays to round off the nights - and at the same time, helping to raise thousands of pounds for charitable and worthy causes.
After a two year hiatus, due to the pandemic, the Summer Spectacular events returned to the seaside town last year, with 2022 a record breaking year for Round Tablers from Tenby, as they raised a whopping £27,344 for worthy causes!
This money was raised from two Beer Festivals held at the town’s De Valence Pavilion venue; a Santa Run around the seaside town; and of course the two record-breaking Summer Spectaculars.
