Tenby will be expecting a busy end to the year, as New Year revellers head to the seaside town to welcome in 2023 with a bang!

The coastal town has become a popular place to celebrate the end of another year, with people from far and wide descending on Tenby over the holiday period, especially knowing that Tudor Square will see large crowds gathering once again following the Covid restrictions of the past couple of years, to enjoy the countdown to 2023, and a spectacular fireworks display, once again hosted by Tenby House Hotel in the centre of the town.

Local DJ Steve Briers and his Disco Roadshow will be the man behind the tunes at Tenby House for the first time as party-goers soak up the atmosphere around town.

“I’ve been a DJ since the age of 17 and have worked every New Year's Eve all over the place since then, obviously apart from the Covid years, but in all that time, I have never worked a New Year’s Eve in one of the best places in the UK to celebrate, until now!” said Steve, who was also seen and heard recently spinning his discs on North Beach for the town’s charity Boxing Day Swim event.

“I’m so looking forward to playing in Tenby, right at the heart of the Tudor Square celebrations in Tenby House. Big thanks to Lesley, Martin and Kelly for the opportunity.

“It's gonna be fun, and I'll make sure all the big tunes flow and we keep that big party vibe until 2 am!” he added.
