Did you get a ukulele for Christmas? Do you already play? Would you like to be part of Saundersfoot’s very own ukulele band?

The Slipway Ukes are bouncing into the New Year with the first practice taking place on Monday.

For this session only, they’ll be at Saundersfoot Sports & Social Club downstairs room, while the band’s normal meeting place (New Hedges Village Hall) undergoes some planned maintenance.

The session takes place on Monday, January 8, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The ukulele band based in Saundersfoot first advertised on Saundersfoot Connect a year ago to see if there was any interest in setting up a local ukulele group; since then they’ve gone from strength to strength.

Why not go down and join them on Monday and see what it’s all about? If you play a different instrument and think you could add something to the mix, you’d also be very welcome, say the organisers.
