Tenby Round Table has confirmed the dates for this year’s Summer Spectacular events at the seaside town’s harbour.

Round Tablers will be running its charitable Summer Spectacular events this Summer as normal, despite two other organisations taking a step back this year.

“Following the announcements by Tenby and District Lions and Tenby Rotary Club that they will not be hosting their three events this summer, we are pleased to confirm that we will still be hosting our two events in Tenby Harbour,” said a spokesperson for the Round Table.

“We are also working with other organisations to see if more events can be hosted through the summer, which we will announce as and when there is more information.”

The Summer Spectaculars will take place on Sunday, August 13 and the Bank Holiday of Sunday, August 27.

“Join us in the harbour on these dates for an afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, drink, and fun, with fireworks at 10 pm to finish,” they continued.

“All the funds raised at the event go to supporting local charities and good causes who need your support now more than ever!

“We are also looking for companies to come on board as headline sponsors for the event so if you own or know any businesses that might be interested, please get in touch.

“We look forward to welcoming you back to Tenby Harbour this summer.”

2022 was a record breaking year for Round Tablers from Tenby, as they raised a whopping £27,344 for worthy causes!

This money was raised from two Beer Festivals held at the town’s De Valence Pavilion venue; a Santa Run around the seaside town; and of course two record-breaking Summer Spectaculars at Tenby’s picturesque harbour.

After a two year hiatus, due to the pandemic, Tenby’s popular Summer Spectacular events returned to the seaside town last year.

The events tend to run from the last Sunday in July, right up to the last Sunday in August, covering the Bank Holiday weekend, with thousands of people attending to enjoy live entertainment, bands and the amazing firework displays to round off the nights - and at the same time, helping to raise thousands of pounds for charitable and worthy causes.

However, The Rotary Club of Tenby and the Tenby and District Lions both announced last month that they will not be running their events this year.

Normally the Rotary would cover two Sunday events; with the Lions taking the final Spectacular of the season.
