Pembroke Castle has released details of what is in store for visitors to the castle’s Christmas Market later this month.
In addition to a huge variety of stalls there will be a programme of musical entertainment taking place throughout the weekend.
The return of the popular annual event after a two-year break will see performances by local schools, and musicians inside the giant marquee and it should add to what should be an incredibly festive atmosphere. The running order as it stands is:
Friday, November 25:
12 noon – Official opening by the Mayor of Pembroke
1pm –Monkton Primary School
2pm – Penrhyn Primary School
6.30pm – The arrival of Santa!
Saturday, November 26:
11am – Castle Brass
2pm – The Cleddau Flute Choir
Sunday, November 27:
11am – Sharpe Music
The event is free to attend, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
This year the event is raising money for Paul Sartori and is being supported by Valero and Pembroke Town Council.
The opening hours are:
Friday, November 25, 12 noon – 8pm
(*please note a slightly later opening time this year)
Saturday, November 26, 10am – 6pm
Sunday, November 27, 10am – 4pm.
